Lewis loved art, drawing, sketching, photography and theatre. At the age of 7 he was Tiny Tim’s understudy and a street urchin in a Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theatre among many others.
After graduating from Bartlett High School in 2000 he went onto Columbia College in Chicago where he graduated in 2005 with a degree in computer graphics/animation.
Lewis passed on Saturday, July 8, 2006 when his heart gave out.
Lewis always told me that his condition was not going to limit his life, he lived it to the fullest and lived a lifetime in his 24 short years.
His love for art is why we are all here to raise money in Lewis’s name so that one graduating senior can go on to pursue their dream and to hopefully make someone else’s come to life.
Help us keep Lewis’ dream alive!
